The New Tradition Chorus is an award-winning men's chorus with approximately 60 voices based in Northbrook, IL. The NTC creatively entertains its audiences with artful performances, great staging and excellent singing of great music.
NTC performs a wide-ranging repertoire: exciting, fun Broadway numbers, classy Big Band songs, tunes from your favorite children's movies, stirring, emotional ballads, patriotic numbers brimming with pride, and lots more. The New Tradition has won 19 medals (a medal each year) in the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Chorus Contest including a streak of 8 Silver Medals (followed by a God Medal in 2001) that remains unrivaled since it entered the competitions in 1988.
The new Tradition has created many innovative contest packages, including our Irish Packages, Les Miserables, the Soldier Package, and many more, that are always pleasers. The NTC has had numerous engagements in the Chicagoland area and traveled to Ireland, England and California.
