Powerhouse Selection of Classical Music

The Windy City Gay Chorus has been performing amazing choral music across the country since 1979. Under the direction of Eric Esparza, the men of the Chorus will bring to our stage a powerhouse selection of classical music, contemporary tunes and popular songs. Alternating with, and eventually joining the Chorus in our program, will be the women of the Windy City Treble Quire.

Windy City Performing Arts (WCPA) was incorporated in 1983 as an independent not-for-profit umbrella organization for Windy City Gay Chorus. Each ensemble in WCPA performs a variety of musical styles from classical to pop. We pride ourselves on musical excellence regardless of the style of music. The choruses have a history of performing major choral works including special commissioned pieces.

Windy City Performing Arts is committed to community outreach and has identified 3 areas of focus: education, volunteerism, and performances. Each area will work to demonstrate and advance our mission as well as foster relationships within the community.

The two choirs are outstanding, I really enjoy their voices and passion!

-– Paulette Boyd, President !NSPIRE
